In this episode Darby will go into detail with a plan that converts conventional row crop into perennial pasture,dealing with invasive weed pressure, and practical considerations for establishing new pasture. Things like should you mow long grass, why or why not, and when could you graze cattle on a new pasture, and even chickens.

There’s a lot of practical advice in this one. Hopefully some of this advice can help you get establish more pasture or improve the quality of your pasture.

Because more grass, means more animals, and no extra land needed.

  1. Great 2 part series. You guys seem to cover items right when I need the info! Getting ready to convert a row crop field to pasture for homestead purposes. Pastured poultry and cattle in the future.
